Your small-group driving tour of Taos's most famous tourist destinations begins at 1:00pm at the downtown Taos Plaza Gazebo. Major sites include the living Native American Village and UNESCO World Heritage Site Taos Pueblo, the quaint and historic Taos Plaza at the heart of Taos, the stunning and impressive Taos Gorge Bridge towering 600 feet over the Rio Grande, and the world-renowned and eclectic Taos Earthship community.
An average of 3-hours should be allotted for this tour which may vary depending upon traffic conditions and each destination visit length.
Note! Taos Pueblo closes to visitors for ceremonies and other traditional occasions, sometimes without notice. In the event the Pueblo is closed, we substitute a stop at a 200 year old Spanish colonial hacienda.
A confirmation email is emailed upon booking with directions to free downtown parking and the meeting location. Your guide meets you at the Taos Plaza Gazebo where your tour starts and ends. Our vehicle is a clean and tidy 12-passenger van. Children are welcome (you provide car seat) for 50% off, while seats are available. A short amount of walking is involved to enter the various sites. There is a walking tour of the Taos Pueblo less than 1/2 mile in total and duration of approximately 30 minutes.
